We love 2009, when before, we had to wait weeks to even get pictures from a music video, with twitter and LNN in the place the wait is just OVER. You get what you want to know as it happens. Make sure you follow us on twitter to be in the know right away.

LeToya is, as we’re talking, filming her new video for the song “Regret”. She looks UH-MAYZING. I am totally digging the ponytail and the whole look with a jean and tank top. Sexy as hell… You go Mama!  Ludacris is there as well looking all cute and stuff. This looks promising! (Check out the gallery below, we’ll add pictures to it as they become available)

Rumors of LeToya being dropped by her label are spreading over the internet. True or not? Well not really.  Technically we could say yes but from a legal perspective, not just yet. EMI Music informally let it be known that they were no longer interested in funding LeToya’s project and as a result it is being considered to end the partnership. They are currently reviewing ways of ending the record deal in a proper manner. (LeToya was originally signed for more than 2 albums). Lawyers of both parties are still working on this case.

The thing is, they want to get rid of her but it’s their fault the album is not performing as good as hoped. There is big drama behind this situation, which explains why EMI didn’t promote the album in the first place – but we’re not sure if we can disclose it here. (In case you really wanna know. Here is a hint:  It has to go with Kelly Rowland stealing budgets from LeToya’s to promote her song  ”When Love Takes Over” – which is under EMI Music as well. Watch! These people will hunt her for the rest of her life…)

Anyway! The only way to make EMI/Capitol revert their decision is if “Regret” becomes a HUGE hit (meaning they see $$$ coming back in return of their investment) …. and it’s clearly on its way to become one… but LeToya needs YOU to make it happen! (thanks to you the song is now #12 in the US (Urban Radios).

How can you contribute?

1) Request Radios, TV, magazines:

- either call/text manually your local radio stations, email TV Shows. Here is a list HERE.

2) Let Capitol know that you are here to support LeToya

- Sign the official petition http://twitition.com/DTU4B and if you don’t have twitter www.petitiononline.com/ladylove .  So let Capitol know what the deal is by signing these petitions.

3) Last but not least but most important: BUY the song “Regret” online (Itunes, Amazon). It’s just 99cents. If you did already, buy it from your friends/family’s iphones/zunes and give them that dollar. Most of the time they will tell you that you can keep it! So you can buy unlimited times! (Ghetto but it works!)

Hopefully LeToya will make it work with Capitol – at least for this project alone (then she can bounce). We don’t want to see such an outstanding album go to waste! right?

We all know “Lady Love” isn’t selling as good as we hoped. Of course we know why… her label sucks and didn’t do shit to promote the album.

Her team and fans are really mad at Capitol Records for that. This is why they launched the “Operation Regret” (which LNN support 100%) to try to save this whole project. It’s been quite working. The song is making jumps on the Billboard – reaching #15 on Billboard R&B and #90 on Hot 100 airplay. So now We need YOU – yeah YOU who is reading this – to support so we can speed that up even more. How? Well basically “Regret” needs to be a hit.  There are only two ways to make this happen and WE WILL make it happen:

1. Request radio stations. (call, text, tweet on-air personalities, email). (If you don’t have access to those databases we made all the contact info you need for that available to you HERE ; you will need to use your password you received to listen to “Regret” with the bridge though. You can request it by sending us a message on twitter if you don’t have one already. Easy)

2. Buy the song on itunes/amazon. (and have your friends/family buy it)

Hello everyone I really appreciate your support of Letoya and understand your frustrations cause Im beyond pissed @ the wack ass Virgin records staff which now I call Crapitol, I say Virgin cause this isnt the same staff that worked LETOYA’S first album these are the bums who bricked every urban artist they have put out over the past few yrs going all way back to Janet… Capitol staff were the ones breaking urban artist ie Letoya, Cherrish, J Holiday, Mims.. These same artist come out again under the new Crapitol staff and yall knw the rest… I know alot of you guys were in favor of SAGS (She Ain’t Got) to be a single, I knew if tht record didnt work we would be in this place right now, no money to promote the urban record Regret that Toya needed to keep her core fans happy until she had a record tht crossed naturally instead of trying to CHASE pop radio, it never works when u chase… I begged them to test SAGS before they dumped all tht money into that single and video… Not Anymore was a top 10 urban record regardless of wht some may say, but its not easy to get a top 10 record.. Say’n all of this like Ced said Regret is going to have to take off and bring in album sales in order for Toya to continue working this album… Ive have heard from many haters and casual Toya fans on how dope this album really is, LETS GET THIS RECORD IN TOP 5!!!!! if that happens she will be ok and will get another shot, by the way Hot in ATL just added it in power rotation… THANKS EVERYONE!!!!!!

I just had a long teleconference today and long story short: we have to fight to make “Regret” not only a hit, but a SMASH HIT record. If it doesn’t, then this album is dead.

Capitol is TRASH. Most of us already knew this, but early on they showed promise but they failed even worse than I think most of us expected. The reality of the situation is they will not be putting any more money into this project unless “Regret” becomes a major hit single. It’s crazy to have a song out there with no support from the label, and it’s not cool that the fans have to fill that void, but it is possible that WE – THE FANS – can save this album. We are the ONLY ones at this point who can do it. Capitol is not even going to think about doing a damn this until the song cracks the Top 20.

Again, they are not going to even think of doing anything until we get to #20, and even then nothing is guaranteed. We have to aim for the #1 spot and nothing else. Again, if this song doesn’t do something major then the “Lady Love” album is dead. The fans and the blogs are the ones who have been keeping news about this album alive and we can keep this album moving by working together to request this song.

We have a great album that wasn’t even given a chance to do sh*t…but that can all change. “The sky is the limit” is what I was told if “Regret” becomes the SMASH HIT we all know it can be…if not…then the album we waited 3 years for is done with in 3 months. It’s insane and it’s unfair that this ENTIRE project depends on this one song, and it’s insane and unfair to Toya and us as fans. BUT if you are down to literally save this album, then we MUST work together and and gather as many people we can to show their support for this song. We must e-mail, PM, text and tweet person on every site and blog we can to spread the word.
