“Lady Love” is the title track for LeToya Luckett’s sophomore album.  It’s the first track on the LP and for good reason; it’s an excellent opener for the album.  As soon as LeToya say’s “Let’s go…” it quickly becomes apparent that the quality of this song is on an entirely different level than anything we’ve heard on her debut. The violins begin to back LeToya as she sings “tell me what would you say if I told you I could pay for that…would you take the cash I gave you or would you just pass it back?” Immediately LeToya’s vocals exude a confidence similar to that of a 1993 Janet Jackson, with a sensual tone that beckons the listener to stay tuned.  As the song continues to develop, the chorus reveals an 80’s inspired danceable track.  LeToya’s tenacious conviction is on full display as she continues to assert that if you would just, “open your eyes you’ll see I’m all you need…what you desire it comes natural to me…you can’t resist my lady love.” She’s right, there is no resiting her lady love. When this song ends you’re completely enthralled with LeToya’s confidence, vocal growth, and lyrical prowess; there’s no way you can stop now…
