LeToya performed “Good to me” for the first time on Friday in Greenville for Kelly Mac Birthday Bash. She didn’t sing the whole song but it was cool and surprise at 0.52 she did a bit of “Single Ladies”.

This song has a serious bass-line, that really makes it JAM! As soon as the track starts, you find yourself moving your head, and getting into the groove. The production on this song is phenomenal, and I can see this heating up dance-floors across the world. This is a pop-tinged R&B record done very well. Another personal favorite (I have a lot of favorites on this album, which speaks volumes about the collective high quality of “Lady Love”) that stays on repeat.

Conceptually this song is cleverly constructed; replete with metaphors and analogies throughout. LeToya likens the end of a relationship to the end of a party; she sings, “…It’s my last dance with you, when the party’s over there’s an after party, and there will be an after you, there is an after you, to the after party…keep it moving to the after party!!!”

Maurice POV already gave you a quick sneak peak of “Good to me” on LeToya News TV. His version is horrible doesn’t really do any justice to the song. He did it so wrong lmao.

So here is my review of this wonderful song which is an album track for “Lady Love” – which should be released August 25 if the world don’t come to an end by then. Hopefully it will be a single.

So to give you an idea of how it sounds… It’s a mid-tempo. It’s got Tank written all over it. It would’ve been a perfect fit in his album Sex, Love & Pain. The fact that it is sung by a female gives it a totally new dimension though. I think it was one of the best thing that happen to LeToya to get the role in “Preacher’s Kid”.  Thanks to that she had the opportunity to meet Tank and be close to him.

As usual with this entire album LeToya is killing dem harmonies.
