R&B singer and former member of Destiny’s Child, Letoya Luckett is totally down for a Destiny’s Child reunion.

Rumors swirled earlier this week about a possible Destiny’s Child reunion sometime in the fall. Although the labels have denied those rumors, but they may just be keeping the reunion under wraps.

GlobalGrind ran into LeToya Luckett at the 2011 ASCAP Awards, and she shared a few words with us.

What Did You Regret In 2009?

Hey GG!!

The holidays have arrived and I have had such a blessed year!
Make sure you all enjoy and appreciate the time with your family and friends but also take time for you, in fact, why not give yourself a gift too!

More importantly, don’t forget to think about those who are less fortunate…do what you can to give back. A little bit goes a long way. Donate to a toy/food/coat drive or volunteer at a soup kitchen.

Also, this is a time to self reflect and start thinking of new goals for next year.
What did you “Regret” in 2009 that you will not repeat 2010?? What were the things you learned to help you grow?

Hey y’all! It’s ya girl LeToya Luckett checking back in, while I’m making my way back home to Houston!

My new album, “Lady Love” is about all the various emotions that someone may experience while being in a relationship, and one of my favorite records on the album is “Lazy”. The song tells the story of someone who’s simply not feeling the idea of getting into another relationship and allowing themselves to get too close to someone else again right now. You know….finding out what they like to do and eat and do for fun….you just wanna say “I don’t care! I’m gonna do me!” lol

Have you been in a situation like this before? At what point did you realize that you didn’t want to take the time to learn about someone else and take time to focus on you? I would love to hear your thoughts!

Do You Know Yourself When In A Relationship?

Hey Global Grind!! So sorry I have been away for a minute but have been on the road non-stop promoting the album. All of the support from my fans has been incredible..I’m so blessed to be doing the job I love.

Traveling so much has also given me the time to think about a whole bunch of stuff including relationships. It’s amazing how almost everything around us is inspired by some sort of relationship experience: music, movies, television shows, books and now even twitter! Lord knows me and my girlfriends have had heartfelt conversations about boys many times that have inspired a few of my songs!

I’ve noticed that when people are getting to know each other sometimes they don’t know themselves enough to know what to look for. So, I want to start a dialogue to get us thinking about what it is that ‘we’ want in relationships.

First question …. What’s the most important thing u look 4 in a person when u 1st meet them? What strikes ur interest & why?
