Hey y’all! It’s ya girl LeToya Luckett checking back in, while I’m making my way back home to Houston!

My new album, “Lady Love” is about all the various emotions that someone may experience while being in a relationship, and one of my favorite records on the album is “Lazy”. The song tells the story of someone who’s simply not feeling the idea of getting into another relationship and allowing themselves to get too close to someone else again right now. You know….finding out what they like to do and eat and do for fun….you just wanna say “I don’t care! I’m gonna do me!” lol

Have you been in a situation like this before? At what point did you realize that you didn’t want to take the time to learn about someone else and take time to focus on you? I would love to hear your thoughts!

Do You Know Yourself When In A Relationship?

Hey Global Grind!! So sorry I have been away for a minute but have been on the road non-stop promoting the album. All of the support from my fans has been incredible..I’m so blessed to be doing the job I love.

Traveling so much has also given me the time to think about a whole bunch of stuff including relationships. It’s amazing how almost everything around us is inspired by some sort of relationship experience: music, movies, television shows, books and now even twitter! Lord knows me and my girlfriends have had heartfelt conversations about boys many times that have inspired a few of my songs!

I’ve noticed that when people are getting to know each other sometimes they don’t know themselves enough to know what to look for. So, I want to start a dialogue to get us thinking about what it is that ‘we’ want in relationships.

First question …. What’s the most important thing u look 4 in a person when u 1st meet them? What strikes ur interest & why?

Looking forward to the dialogue….I want to hear from all of you!
