We hoped 2011 was going to be LeToya’s year. There were some mysterious delays and that did not happen. We hope that this time 2012 is the one. As we are entering a new year I would like to take the time to thank everybody who contributed to LeToyaNews thus far.

With about 35 millions hits LeToya News became THE one stop source for everything LeToya. Behind the facade of LeToyaNews.com there is a whole team of people working very hard to provide you with the best of the best,  the latest of the latest and exclusives. In over two years and a half we’ve done a hundred times more than what those other lazy fansites could never think of doing in over half a decade. Imitation is the best form of flattery and we are pleased to see them follow our lead and become what they should’ve been in the first place.

I am “COMMON” and as the co-owner of LeToya News I am now personally thanking each and everyone of you. There have been a few haters trying to bring us down but we got through everything. We really do appreciate everyone who understands our goal of promoting LeToya. Thanks for visiting everyday. Like we say “better late then never”, so yeah we created a facebook account. About time right. With the new era coming soon and facebook being the “it” thing of the moment. LeToya Luckett attended The Magic Johnson Foundation’s private shopping even at Nordstom in LA. I’m loving the neutral look. Normally, I wouldn’t think shades of browns, green, and gray would go together. Definitely a cute shopping look.

You know how people tend to remove female singers’s last name. You have those that came out with a last name but people tend to just call them by their first name: Mariah, Janet, Britney, Christina, Keri, etc… You already know that it’s Carey, Jackson, Spears, Aguilera and Hilson.

You have those that came out without a last name but we all know what it is: Brandy (Norwood), Beyonce (Knowles), Ciara (Harris), Ashanti (Douglas), Rihanna (Fenty) and so on.

And then you have LeToya. LeToya LeToya hmmm. The girl was known in Destiny’s child as “LeToya” and then she came out as a solo artist as “LeToya”. But for some reason people not only love to misspell it “Latoya” or “La Toya” but 90% of the time they will add her last name “Luckett” (Usually misspelled as Tuckett, Bucket, Lockett, Lucket or Luckette). So on twitter you’ll come across to a lot of something like “OMG I’m totally in love with this Good To Me song by La toyah Tokkette”. (True story!). And we all know that one case when Wireimage called her “Gloria Tucket”. If there was an award for most misspelled artist’s name in history she would definitely win it hands down.
