LeToya hosted and performed at the MBK showcase last night at New York’s Highline Ballroom. LeToya was THE star of the night as she was the highlight of the show since most of the MBK’s roster is pretty much unknown. (besides Alicia Keys, who of course, wasn’t there). But hey, that’s why they called it the “Who’s next Showcase” part 2 (Never heard there was a part 1) so good luck to all these artists.

If you follow us on twitter, you know that the event was live-streamed and LeToya performed her new song “Good To Me” and other of her hits.

I’m at the point where I have to find synonyms to the word “Gorgeous” to not sound boring because that’s what is, she’’s just… Gorgeous, fantastic, cute, sexy, everything…

LeToya was spotted at the ESSENCE’s “Black Women in Hollywood” Event this Thursday March 4th (at Crystal Ballroom of the Beverly Hills Hotel). As usual she looked great and I must say I think she looks better like this with less make up on.

The event’s mission is to salute Queen Latifah, Gabourey Sidibe, Mary J. Blige, Zoe Saldana and the legendary actress, Cicely Tyson, each of whom Essence honors for their work and tireless commitment to representing black women.

Its truly a tragic thing when we have to alert people in the church about other “church-types” who are working against God’s will to infect the church with their insanity. Enter Matt Crouch, stage left.

The Preacher’s Kid, is the latest religious movie backed by Matt Crouch and his Gener8Xion Entertainment company.

The star of Crouch’s new movie is Letoya Luckett and she’s about to seduce your pastor using a very familiar biblical story. But the story within the story is an old one: satan is cunning and many in the contemporary church are ripe for his deception.

I watched the TBN talkup show where DC area pimpster Micheal Freeman and his wife Dee Dee gushed and told pastors to get their daughters and rush out to see the movie. On a contradictory note, Freeman said the movie wasn’t for the church, but his wife turned right around and said the church should support it by packing out theaters. So which lie is it?

PS: I typed this article a while ago. Was not going to post it but truth needs to be put out there.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!! IT’S 2010! And with the new year always comes new resolutions. So here is a post of what resolutions LeToya should be taking if she wants to make moves in her career.

LeToya said “no more negativity around this era” so she might hate me for doing this but only true friends/fans speak the truth and she needs to know this because I don’t want her to repeat the same mistakes. This is something that I’ve been holding to myself and that the fans need to know. Ready to make new enemies… LET’S GO…

LeToya is a gorgeous and talented lady. She can sing, dance and has personality.  She’s got a large faithful fanbase, so in one word she’s got “it”. She’s got more than any of the other “bitches” out there and labels dream of signing an artist with that whole package/resume. However, not everything is going the way we think it should. Has she been cursed by creole tribes? Is there some obscure stuff we are not aware of?

First, let’s list the events surrounding her career that didn’t go too well.

- LeToya gets the boot from Destiny’s Child (duh)
- Beyonce releases B’day album to pre-order the SAME DAY as the release of LeToya’s first solo effort.
- LeToya’s song “The Truth” is removed from “Daddy’s Little Girls” Sountrack at the last minute.
- Ali & Gipp ft. LeToya: “Almost Made Ya” video never sent to outlets.
- Diddy’s “Diddy Rock” video with Letoya shot but never released
- Webbie shoots the video for “Missing You” without Letoya
- After the major success of “Torn” and the first album, Letoya does not get nominated at any major award show (BET Awards, MTV Awards, Grammy’s, etc)
- Capitol and Virgin’s merge stops LeToya’s first era. “Obvious” is not released even though Billboard predicts it to be 90% a hit. Second album recording is halted.
- “Love Rollercoaster” video shoot is cancelled
- LeToya is removed from BET Awards 2009 line up.
- Major radios such as HOT 97 (NY), Power 106 (LA), JAMN 945 (Boston) boycott LeToya’s music.
- Capitol gives up on “Lady Love” promo
- “Someone” tries to sabotage the “Regret” video shoot by breaking the elevator. LeToya and Ludacris were stuck for an hour.
- LeToya isn’t welcome to perform her hit “Regret” on national TV shows.
- LeToya does not get nominated in any Awards show (including the Grammy’s) for critically acclaimed “Lady Love”.
- “Preacher’s Kid” only to premiere in select cities.

So why is LeToya not so lucky? Well………, it’s a combination of 2 things: 1) “Some” people are against her. (We all know who) 2) A not efficient/ lame team (more on this further down)

OK the Knowles are responsible for a lot of this but if she would get people as powerful as them behind her, there would be nothing they could do to stop her. If LeToya was represented, by, let’s say, Beni Medina (Mariah, JLo, manager) for example it would be different. Keri Hilson is no where near as talented neither are her songs better than LeToya’s but, she has Timbaland and a whole top notch team behind her.

But not only when you have people against you, but your own team is lame as well, there is nothing much you can do. LeToya needs to get rid of these people who are slowing her down.

MUST BE FIRED FROM LETOYA’S TEAM ASAP

Terry “TR” Ross

TR is (still) LeToya’s personal manager. He was the one who helped her record that 5 songs demo and got her a record deal with Capitol Records. LeToya feels that she owes him. This is why she stays faithful to him no matter what. But LeToya needs to understand that you can’t mix friendship with business. She’s got to let him go.

What she might not be aware of is that he has a HORRIBLE reputation in the music business. From various sources who would like to remain anonymous he’s one of the most rude and unprofessional managers. He constantly burns bridges with the most powerful people in the music business, which messes it up for LeToya herself.

This dude doesn’t act like a manager, he acts more like a bodyguard. If you see some dumb hood nigga trying to stop you from saying hi to LeToya, that’s this fool.

She made the right move by hiring MBK to help him out, but he needs to go altogether.

LeToya… FIRE HIM!

OK so we know LeToya has been “chilling” with someone.  That someone happens to be LA Dodgers Mr Matt Kemp. Rumors has been spreading lately about Rihanna messing around with him for the past week or so. If I was her I wouldn’t try to mess with someone that sings “She Ain’t Got Shit On Me” … She’s playing with her life big time and risks to be hit again.
